There he is

All the pomp and circumstance, with former presidents Carter, Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43, a sea of people with the Washington monument and the Lincoln memorial off in the distance, the great grand buildings, flags, trumpets, frills on the curtains, the Presidential Blue carpet, and then there he is. We wait at least four years for these moments of detente, and no one does them better than Americans, but this one seems the most transformative in my adult life.

I obviously have no idea what is going to happen from here on out, but I'm glad to see him here now on this day. And I'm very proud to be an American, especially on this day.
